    PRESCRIPTION OPTIONS
    Single vision lenses are needed if you require correction for one field of vision, either distance or near vision (reading). Vint & York’s lenses consist of premium quality polycarbonate Rx lenses. Protective coatings such as high quality anti–scratch and anti-reflective coating are included in all of our lenses. Polycarbonate lenses are strong and impact resistant, making them safe to wear.
    Bifocal lenses accommodate by correcting one's distance and near vision with one pair of lenses. The two fields of vision are typically separated by a line across the lens. Our Bi Focal lenses are available with many of our optical frames. We offer high index materials as well as a blended bi focal for those who prefer no sharp line. All of our lenses include UVA/UVB protective coatings as well as high quality anti-scratch and anti reflective coatings.
    Vint & York offers Progressive Lenses that are available with many of our optical frames. Progressive lenses are a multifocal lens to help correct three fields of vision with no line separating. They correct distance, intermediate as well as reading vision in one lens. We offer Digital Progressive lenses as well as high index material progressive lenses. All of our lenses include UVA/UVB protective coatings and high quality anti–scratch and anti-reflective coating.
    LENS OPTIONS
    If you want to receive frames with no Rx, you have two options. Optical frames will include anti-reflective polycarbonate lenses when you choose the option “Add clear non-prescription lenses”. The option “I plan on replacing demo lenses” are recommended if your optician or doctor plans on replacing the lenses. Those lenses would be a demo lens or plastic.
    A light responsive lens can also be called photochromatic lenses. These lenses darken when exposed to UV light such as the sun. They are available in polycarbonate and high index materials. When exposed to UV light the lenses will darken to your choice of color either brown or grey.

      VA VA Voom

      I wasn't quite sure I was up for the green Myrtle's. I'm pretty ill and worried I could not carry them off.

      At one time, having been quite stylish, I decided to go for it. I am so glad I did! I love them! Everywhere I go, people ask where I got them. Definitely not here in rural Idaho. I kid you not, ladies. Come to Vint and York and step outside of your comfort zone.

      Gorgeous frame.

      I wanted to love this frame but it sits to low on my face, the top of the frame sit just in front of my eyes. The size is right not small but not oversized, the color is gorgeus, exactly what i wanted, sadly I'll be returning.

      Better in person

      I love these frames. They are better than I thought. The picture and visual try on don't do the color justice. They feel sturdy and you can tell the quality. Lenses are perfect and I have no eye strain from immediately trying them on. Can't wait to try more!

      Nothing else like the Myrtle!

      I have a wide face and large head so it's a struggle for me to find eyeglass frames that look proper and flattering on me. By now, I don't remember how I discovered your web site but I have had my eyes on the Myrtle frame for a long time. I like cat eye frames but most don't look good on me mostly do to a round frame not working with a round face. I ordered the Icy Pink in these because I like glasses that are this softer color which coincidently nicely contrast with the very angular shape of these frames. The measurements are generous and I was confident they would work for me. I just had my eye doctor place lenses in them and am enjoying them very much. The employee in the doctor's office was interested in the frames for herself so you may get another order eventually as I showed her your web site. The order arrived in a timely manner and the case for these glasses are exceptional. In summary, Myrtle cat eye frames are very angular with side points but they deliver for me in every way. I hope to order another Myrtle in another color! You are unique in a world of frequently mundane eyeglasses!
